The Soldier Marathon (Nov.11)in Columbus, GA is offering free transferability of registeration to anyone registered for the NYC Marathon. You still have to pay the Active.com fee & $1 to transfer, but that's it.Info is on their website www.soldiermarathon.com; I'm not connected with this race in any way, but it's a good Veterans Day race starting at the Infantry Museum.
