Does anyone have any insight on two questions on Boston registration: 1) How are the new standards impacting the size of the qualifing field, given registration was open for a few weeks vs. the few hours of two years ago, and 2) How does Boston select applicants within the qualifing windows? Say for example, a person has a qualifing time 48 seconds outside the 10 - 20 minute window. When the 5 - 10 minute window opens (hopefuly), will runners be admitted based on raw time, or time within age group, or first come first served? Thanks, and Good Luck to all on 2012 races!
