Lower Back Pain

A month ago I picked up my nephew and had no immediate pain or pop, but the next morning I could barely move. More specifically, bending over and putting my chin on my chest was impossible - and is still hard today. The severity of the pain has subsided a bit but it's still painful. Running doesn't hurt too bad but I know it doesn't help the pain either.

The pain is centered on the spine and slight left side at my lower back. Getting into a car, tying my shoes, putting on pants, etc all are difficult and elicit a sharp pain on top of the dull pain that already existed. Help!
