Exercise induce asthma

I was diagnosed with exercise induce asthma 2 yrs back and have taken an inhaler 15-30 (as well as sometimes allergy medicine) minutes before I run and the last 6 months I been struggling to breath during my runs. I run on the treadmill, early in the am, afternoon, night&&&.I tried every part of the day to run but nothing seems to help. It seems I am running at 50% of my lungs capacity and I am totally miserable!

It has been very hot / humid this year in the mid west and I do not know if this is the cause of my breathing problems.

Before I make another appointment w/my doctor does anyone have advice on how to run with exercise induce asthma?

Should I wear a surgical mask when I run?

Signed Breathless
