I agree whole-heartedly. I'm pretty much a republican but this kind of stuff really leaves me with a lack of trust. John Kerry said similar things when he ran for President in 2004. He claimed he ran the Boston Marathon but couldn't remember his time. It turned out that Boston had no record of him running. All of us real marathoners know what our times are within a few minutes.
