You have to be careful with colds because if you continue to train to hard your little cold could turn into a respritory infection and then you'd be out even longer. My rule has always been-if it's just in my head(stuffy nose and that type of thing, it's not a problem. If it starts to spread to the bod(fever, aches and pains) than you should stop and recoop, then resume training. It's a pain in the ass to stop to get better but it's better to get 'getting well' over with as fast as possible! Good Luck with your October Marathon!
