As I was running the fargo marathon on 5/19/12 suddenly up ahead I could see a group of spectators. I saw a child approx. 7 yrs of age in a wheelchair. This brave child smiling as bright as ever cheering on the runners. It occured to me in that moment that pr times and finishing places didn't matter. What truly matters is life. With. Tears running down my cheeks and the child in my thoughts for the remainder of the race I ran to the finish. In my opinion all of the marathoners in the race are weak in comparison to the strongest person in fargo Saturday, the child in the wheelchair.I would like to send my finishers medal to that child if anyone can help me locate him...thanks for reading this.
