"t's the fastest way into the 2012 Marine Corps Marathon. Run the Irish Sprint 10K to receive guaranteed access to "The People's Marathon." Use this 6.2-mile excuse to skip the online dash to register for the MCM and cruise into the race field without having to hit refresh once.
The Irish Sprint 10K will take runners on a trek of Prince William Forest Park before reaching the pot ogold at the end of the rainbow, errr course.
The Irish Sprint 10K will begin at 8:00 a.m. on March 17. The event will include four waves of runners launching every two minutes. Participants must maintain an 18 minute-per-mile pace to meet the course time requirements.
