I would take that, Zeke. As for that 30K, I started off with a 9:30 pace for the first 13 miles and then took off like a jet for the remaining miles - all sub-9, progressively faster with an 8:27 last full mile and a 7.56 pace for the remaining .6. If I felt like that on marathon day, I would've done much better.
Tonight, I went for a 12.5 mile run. Overall pace was 8:54 but did 10 miles at 8:48. I felt wonderful! Not a struggle at all. Took 1 gel after about an hour of running. If only I could duplicate this feeling on race day. This is how Hartford should have been.
