Zeke,

I did an 18 miler/9:38 pace, a 20 miler/10:05 pace, a 30 K race/9:14 pace, and a 22 miler/9:37 pace.

Funny, people talked about the wind on Sat. like it was this incredible force. I honestly didn't feel affected by it. Maybe I was in such dire straits that I didn't notice it!

So now I've decided to run Harrisburg on Nov. 13th. I've learned that:

1) my fueling was not adequate during the race (I should aim for about 1 gel/hour or every 6 miles 2) my hydration before the race was not adequate, given the extra carbs. I consumed 3) my initial pace was too fast

A friend recommended that I follow Pete Pfitzinger's 4 week plan for running marathons back to back (from his book, "Advanced Marathoning"). I'm wondering if that's too aggressive. I want to arrive at Harrisburg feeling energized not pooped!
