I plan on taking Gatorade at every other water station early on...possibly switching to every station after 20miles depending on how my hydration is. As for the gels, I will use Clif shots and I'll probably take 3-4 over the course of the marathon. So that's a minimum of 13 hits of gatorade, and 3 gels. Don't know if you take it easy through the aid stations...I try to maintain pace, and find it difficult to get more than a few gulps down at each station.
