Hi Sondra, A couple thoughts. First, i concur with the other gents, go ahead and run. Your mileage is a little low, but your odds go up if you have been consistently getting 3 good days a week. Second, take it real easy in the 1st half of the race, take walking breaks if you want to. And last have fun. If this is your first time, you're going to see all kinds of stuff that will surprise you. You might see someone handing out like cookies or high-fiving little kids or something. The faster you're going means the more focused you have to be. You on the other hand can really enjoy all that. If you can, schedule a massage 48 hours after the race. Good Luck!!
