Sorry to hear about your calf. I had to miss my first marathon attempt in February due to an IT Band problem, so I know how you are feeling.
North gave some good advice. You can only do so much to heal an injury, so try not to be too frustrated, let it heal and start back running once it is healed. It is frustrating, but not as frustrating as it will be if you don't give it a chance to heal..
