I am 39 years old. I have been running for 2 or 3 months now putting about 15 miles/week on treadmill.
I am running 5K in 30 minutes with run/walk combination (run for 5 to 10 minutes and walk for 1 or 2 minutes).
My question is, is this good enough to start training for a marathon? I am planning to do a half-marathon first. I am kind of leaning towards Higdon Novice training plan.
Any inputs are greatly appreciated.
