Any way to help speed up the healing of injured hip flexors? Long story short, ran Grandma's with sore hip flexors and now they're worse (duh to me!). It's still painful to just walk. It's almost been a month since the marathon and I'm getting ultra sound treatments, but I'm wondering if anyone has had to deal with this type of injury and how long can I anticipate to be out of running? Is massage a risky option?
