I believe the Cumulus shoe you are wearing is an underpronation shoe. Try the Saucony Omni 3 shoe or the Asics Foundation III shoe. These are shoes for people that overpronate. For a listing of shoes by pronation factor go to http://www.runningtimes.com and click on "Shoes". Then click on either "2001 shoe reviews" or "2002 shoe reviews". This list will give you a good idea what shoes are available and which shoes are good for overpronators. I would avoid the Cumulus shoe unless you underpronate. I personally have not tried the Beast but it is supposed to be an overpronation shoe. If the Cumulus shoe allows you to run injury-free then stick with it but if it causes other leg pain then get another pair. Are you 100% certain that you overpronate? If not then perhaps you should go to sports medicine doctor or a foot doctor and find out for sure.
