Words fail me to describe the loss of Sally Meyerhoff. Run a few miles in her honor in the next day or two.
PLEASE remember to ALWAYS be aware of your surroundings and assume that others don't see you on the road. Drivers are distracted with music, etc. and are looking for other vehicles out there— they are not looking at you. Try to make eye contact with the driver anytime you come near them or have to cross an intersection. ALWAYS be aware of the other guy—never assume they see you. Sadly, the consequences can be and are life-threatening.
