The one thing that is sometimes overlooked when running longs is the curve of the road or trail. I found anything over 15 miles if I ran on the edge of a street, with the slight curve on it would work one leg more than the other. And chances are you run out one way and back on the other side so the same leg gets all the abuse. (an 1/8 to 3/4 of an inch can make a huge difference)It doesn't have to be much but you'll feel it the next day. V, if you started with soreness this could have just added to it. When possible I try to run the middle of anything. Something to think about when your out.
