Give me all the details on the area, ect of the knee pain/tightness. Since I already know the mechanism of injury, you can leave out that part. PS - it might just be becasue you ran 24 miles? That does do some interesting things to your muscles. Also, if you were at all favoring the knee during the run, that could have changed the biomechanics of your stride. Sorry, I'm gettin long winded here with some big, PT school words.
