Only $5000? And no time qualification? What a bargain!
It's getting pathetic. Boston is tarnished - no longer carries the "mystique" of being the pinnacle of running in my mind. Like NYC, "qualifying" means nothing, because if you bring the money, you can run.
I realize this is the world we live in. But, for those of us who were running last century, back in the 80's when it was more about the running and not moneymaking/commercialization this is all pretty sacrilegious.
How times have changed.
