Thanks for the thoughtful, and helpful responses. I contacted a trainer, and former teammate to help me create a personalized training plan. I work some strange hours, so the running groups weren't the best option for me.
Minneapolis is a great running city, especially when you're two blocks from the lakes. That might tell you a little more about how lazy/unmotivated I was. Having a plan, and some inspiration from other runners has me really excited for my next race, which will be in Oklahoma City on May 1st.
