I ran my best marathon ever at the Marine Corps Marathon this past Sunday. I used Hal Higdons Intermediate II and Advanced I as a "guide" but didn't follow it strictly.. did more long distance and less track/tempo - simply due to preference. I'm thinking about beginning to train for Boston in April.. should I use Higdons Advanced II or his training program specifically for Boston? Is there a better training program out there? Thanks!
