The Gel Equation 4 is a cushioning shoe for neutral gait runners. (not you) I can also tell you that this is an economy shoe better suited for low mileage recreational runners — not marathon training. So you are right to junk 'em.

The Asics stability shoe your feet require is the GT-2150, available in 3 different widths — it's one of the most popular models of all time.

My question: How on earth did you ever end up wearing Gel Equations???
