This whole fiasco has been brewing since Nov. of '09 and the BAA failed to see it, or prepare for it. My list: 1 - make NO changes to overall field size 2- make NO changes to charity field size 3 - shorten 18-mo. qualifying window 4 - tighten M/F BQs by 5 minutes, across the board 5 - BQs must correspond with age on date run, NOT age on Patriot's Day 6 - open registration no sooner than Jan. 10, to accommodate EVERY fall qualifying race 7 - establish an authorized bib transfer program; for wait-listed hopefuls, from qualifiers who withdraw due to injury or illness Post a reply on the Bulletin Board
