not nearly enough info

I am not a doctor, and I've never played one on TV...but if I was I still could give decent advice as there is not enough info. Age, resting BP, resting HR, weight, race history. What happens when you have a 'low' what does that mean? do you get light headed, pass out? how do you know your BP is low at that point? Personally I'd say you should be looking for a doctor who's specialty is exercise physiology. This could be serious, or not. I'm not sure you really want a stranger on the internet giving you this kind of advice.

on the other hand is you want to RACE, do you mean 10K, jog through a marathon or RACE a marathon? Huge differences in all of these and how much training you'd have to put in to RACE vs. complete either distance...

good luck, and be careful... -R
