Resting Heart Rate Greenrunner 8/18/10 8:33:37 AM ET
I've been training for my third Marathon and trying different approaches to improve my speed. I am following Hal Higdon Intermediate II and also doing speedwork, pace runs etc. I've read that my Resting Heart Rate should get lower as my conditioning improves - but my RHR is still 60. What could I be missing? Why am I not "improving" - any ideas?
