NCAA rules state that collegiate lane widths must be at least 42", but not exceed 48".

National Federation of High School Associations track & field regulations (rule 5.2 article 3) states: Standard lane width is 42" (1.07m)

IAAF rules require championship ovals to have lane widths of at least 48", but not exceed 49.25"

So to use the lane calculator previously furnished to Ang, one MUST measure the lane beforehand. This is so stated —along with HOW to measure— in Step 2: http://www.eracewalk.com/CalcTrac.htm
