The standard track lane is 1.22 meters (4 feet) wide although some high school tracks have lanes only 42 inches wide. So to know the extra length of each lane you need to kow the wdth of the lanes. For a 48 inch lane the extra length of one lap around the track is about 25.13 feet (7.67 meters). If you go out two lanes the extra length is 50.26 feet, three lanes 74.4 feet, etc. For a 42 inch lane, the extra length of each lane is about 22 feet.

In general to get the extra length for each lane you multiply the width of the lane by 2 Pi =6.283.
