This is something I've not encountered before. I have an area of skin on the outside of my right leg at the knee which feels like my lip after a dentist appointment. It's been like this for about a week. There is no pain, nothing visible on or under the skin, no discoloration, no swelling. This has not seemed to affect my running or any other activity. I am having no trouble keeping up my training schedule, which is now 9 weeks out of the Detroit FreePress Marathon in October. Any ideas? Has anyone else encoutered this?
