This one also has a nice reputation (although I do not know anyone personally who has run it) and is small and is sold out.
I hope these races stay firm with their entry limits in the future to ensure the quality of these races.
Of note, on the MDI website, he states 2011 registration will open the day after the 2010 race. I hope this does not create "demand" from people nervous that the event will sell out. Maybe a stretch, but we've seen this with the bigger city marathons. Not sure the rationale behind this (well, actually I do!).
Even in NYC, Mary opened the lottery registration for the 2011 NYC half-marathon in June. The race is in March 2011 and it's a half, not even a full marathon.
