I'm confused by so many training plans. How many wks? How many days do you run... 4 or 5? Do you weight train on days of short easy runs if your running 5 days? Do you do more than on 20mi run in a 16 wk program? Do you run more than 20mi at any point?
I've been running most of my life... I'm in good shape & based on my marathon research I've been running a reg sched 4 days a wk with my longest run being 16.5 at this point & i feel good at it. I spin the other 3 days, & weights 2 days... Now I'm 14 wks away from Race Day, and I'm confused... I have Higdon, Art Lieberman & Marathon Rookie plans in front of me and just dont know what to do... any suggestions.
