I have done quite a bit of deep water jogging using a flotation belt, not sure of the brand as I just borrow what the local pool has (they use them for water aerobics classes).. I have always jogged in water deep enough for me not to touch the bottom, ends up I'm usually in the 5-6 foot area of the pool (I'm 5'3"). I have never used shoes or anything else on my feet (or my hands either)
