My dad is a kidney doctor -- so I definitely know the evils there.
I think I will try the naproxin before the run this weekend -- I am actually just trying to get a "handle" on why I felt so good after the 20 but so bad after the 18. I'm going to try to just duplicate across the board. (Down to the fact that Fri I ate over at a friend's house, and she made lasagne -- some brand or another -- and breadsticks, etc. -- and I actually am getting the BRAND of the food and I'm going to make that for myself, Sat night. How silly is THAT! *grinning* But it was Naproxin before the 20 (actually 1 before, then 1 about 1/2 way, and 1 after -- so I probably was slightly toxic *oops*) -- so Naproxin it is for the race.... :-) )
