Hi, It sounds as you have a classic and very common running injury. Latest research has found that the problem isn't connected to an inflammation. Your Achilles tendon degenerates by the pressure you put on it during running. Your body tries to rebuild by growing new blod veeners into your tendon. This is that what hurts.
