I'm planning on breaking the 3 hours mark in the Twin cities Marathon ,GOD willing, this fall. I'm in the speed and the mile repeats phase now of my training cycle . I would like to hear from experienced runner what does take, first in training and on the race day, to break the 3 hours ?? I ran 11 marathons(some easy,some hard) my PR is 3:10 for the maraton ; 1:28for the 1/2 ; 59:30 for 15k ; 38:12 for 10k and 18:30 for 5k .
