Okay, I qualified for Boston last April, I ran Chicago in October, and in 5 days I'm going to actually run the Boston marathon. I'm freaking out...well more or less scared to death. Tappering is so hard for me, because I feel like I mentally get out of the mode...now my hip flexur is hurting and I think maybe I can't do this... I am traveling from Illinois, so I'm nervous about EVERYTHING.
I just want to stop worrying and go and enjoy it. I'm sure I'll never qualify again, and it's still surreal to me that I did.
Little motivational speech, or something would be great...
