Hey V, I gotta say congrats on the 20 miler! How did it feel? (Mentally and physically) I know after I did my first one, it was the biggest confidence booster ever. I knew at that point that another 6.2 miles would not stand in my way in my pursuit of the finish line. And it certainly won't for you now.
Now, as for this little segregation bit... please come back and post like normal again. My stand is to just ignore posts that I don't like or that I deem irrelevant. So I don't bother with posts like the elitist ones (goodness knows my times don't make me any kind of superstar) cuz I know that the journey that I made was big and significant and amazing. I wanted and seeked help and motivation from people on this board willing to offer it (like yourself) even if I am in no danger of adding to the field at Boston. Heck, we started the first-timers report, basically for motivation purposes, right? As much as people have the right to ignore any post that I put up, I have the right to ignore anyone else's posts. Even if some are mean-spirited, I'm just like a duck, I let it roll right off my back. And I keep posting my threads as long as there are people who will respond. Try not to let the opinions of one or two get you down, 'k? There's no way you're 'second class' babe.
Marc
