I ran the rock n roll 1/2 in dec in vegas. I then continuted my training starting to pick up mileage after that race. I was going to run the 1/2 in phoenix but got sick and was out for almost a week. I got back up and continuted running for the Hunting beach 1/2 Feb 7. Jan 18-24 29.5 Jan 25-31 22.5 Feb 1- 7 19.1 (HB 1/2) Feb 8 - 14 18 (missed all wk got LR in) Feb 15-21 41 Feb 22-28 42.5 March 1-7 45 March 8-14 24 March 15-21 41.2 (3mx3)walk4mx2+marath

Typically my training goes
Mon strength training + stretching + 5m
wed strength training + stretching + 5m (hot yoga at night)
Th 800m x 5 (up to 10 under 4min each)stopping at 10 two weeks before race
fri strength training + stretching
Sat LR from 16,16,18,19,20,22,9,marathon I would run about 1.5 slower on long.
However on my 22 I was going out the same but at mile 19 i felt great and was able to run at my pace I wanted to (9:05) for the last 3 miles and not problems. I take ice baths after every long run which helps a ton.
One of my friends was telling me that he thinks its also mental. My times for the race:

My goal was a 9:05 time but i'd take a 9:30 I was training for LG at 10-10:30 but the other runs were at 9ish times. I just want to get over this hump. I was happy becuase this was the first time that I didn't crap up so I was really excited. My PR in a 1/2 is 1:54:45 I hope this year to go to 1:45 and my marathon goal is to go sub 4. I know that I can do it but I just need to figure out what I can do better.
