Hi there. I'm running my first half marathon in NYC on March 21st. I've never run anything more than a 10k before and haven't really been following any set training plan so far.
The race is three weeks away and I'm wondering what I should be doing, run wise, leading up to race day.
Thinking I'll do 2 6-mile runs this week and an 8-mile run this weekend. Next week a 6 mile run and a 10 mile run then another 6 mile run the following weekend? Does that sound reasonable? Then what about the last week. Was thinking a couple 3-4 mile runs but then nothing after Wednesday (for a Sunday race).
Thoughts??
