Rita and Tim, Thank you both very much! Yes, I ran the Philly marathon in November and qualified for Boston - which I plan to do next April. Why am I doing this? Multiple reasons - it sounds like a gorgeous marathon and if I went and only did the half I know my competitive side would be frustrated. I tend to overtrain. I've been able to log a lot of weekly mileage despite the weather, but the long runs have been tough. I am glad that this weekend is supposed to be warm and dry - really hope I can get that 18-20miler in. I plan to try and take it slow (not easy for me - I like to push myself) and just settle for not running a BQ again. I would like to go sub-4hrs. though. Thanks again! Tim- are you running a marathon in the coming weeks? Which one? Rita - what is 50 states? IS that what you're aiming for? Since you've done 25 more marathons than me - which is the best in your opinion? =) Ang
