Alright here is my problem: I run with music, in fact, if I don't have my I-pod, all I think about while running is 'where is my i-pod?'. It has recently become clear to me that I am dependant on having music for a successful run or workout. I lost my i-pod for 5 days, and even though I completed the workouts, they were not the same (I feel) as they would have been if I had the music. It also became clear to me that I have been using music during my runs for the last 15 years, since high school swimming and track. Some of my friends think that running without music is better. Does anyone have an opinion on this or suggestions.
Thank you in advance.
