Hi. You sound just like me a year ago when i was training for my 1st half marathon. I was just a 3-4 mile runner also averaging about 10 min miles when i decided to run my first 1/2 marathon. If you can run at least 1 10-12 mile run it would really help you. You also have to make sure you carb up the week before the marathon. And don't forget to hydrate!
