I'm a new runner training for a marathon. I'm running 2 short days during the week and a long day on the weekend. This past Saturday was my long run supposed to be 6mi, the first time I had run this far, but i pushed myself to 7mi. I know I'm only supposed to add 15min to each long run each week.
To the point, it feels like I was hit by a crowbar in my knees. How should I proceed/not proceed with my training?
