Let me get this straight, you've been through chemo, you are having problems at 22km and you are planning on running a marathon (42.2km) in January? The best solution is to take more time and prepare more completely, consider postponing for another year. Barring that consider doing a run/walk program possibly running 2-3 minutes and then walking for a minute. be sure to stay hydrated and fueled during your progression through to the finish and be prepared to feel LOTS worse than you have at 22km, even with the walk breaks. There is no magic that will get you to the end of a marathon, just training. Good luck. -Rita
