Just finished Tulsa Route 66 Marathon, less than 5 minutes too slow to qualify to run Pikes Peak marathon next summer. I hadn't run a marathon in 5 years and wasn't as well trained as I should have been. I've run Pikes Peak marathon twice before and really want to do it on my birthday in 2010. I've found another marathon that I could get to which is 5 weeks away. I thought I'd take it a little easy this week and then redo the last 4 weeks of my training schedule. Any advice?
