I've been running a 7.40-8.0 min per mile pace for my runs. Actually, for my two half marathons I ran closer to 7.30 - without any pre-race food or food during the race. However, during my long runs for my marathon training I have only been doing a 9 min/mile pace (and sometimes slower!). I'm afraid I won't make my time goal. Am I starting too fast? Not eating enough during the run? Running too much throughout the week? Not pushing myself enough? Ideas anyone?
