Be smart and a BQ is yours

You obviously have the fitness to go out at 3:15 pace — so "even pace, even splits" is the best way to leverage that. You did that in Seattle, and can do it again — this time you'll punch a ticket to Boston 2010.

PS: There is ZERO value to surge at any point unless you're goal is to compete for place against other runners. Your BQ qualifying race is strictly against the clock. Run steady, not spastic. Good luck!
