I have a 20 miler on my marathon training schedule and am planning on doing a half marathon race. I figure I will run some more miles after I finish the half. My question is this: should I count the 13.1 miles as more than 13.1 because of the intensity and say do 4 more and call it 20 or do I need to do another 7 miles to get my 20 miles worth of training? Thanks for the help.
