There is nothing more aggravating then having to stop because you gotta go. I spoke to my doctor about this and she suggested taking imodium ad/pepto, she also said that it's just part of running for some people so you might have to deal with it. i can't imagine not running a race without any gel/food. I tried something the other day called honey stingers I think it was organic, but it was very mild on the stomach. You might even take some imodium along the way. Have you started a food diary? I would definitely stay away from any fat and milk products the day before. Sometimes the foods we love don't love us.
