Help! Trying to understand and treat Functional Hallux Limitus

Please help!

I went to a podiatrist recently and after a gait analysis he diagnosed me with Functional Hallux Limitus on my right foot.

The main reason I went to the Podiatrist was for postural issues with pain in my lower back, right shoulder, neck, tmj and lots of cracking of my knees, ankles and right hip.

I would love to know and understand this.

He suggested orthotics and also said that this will not fix the issues, however would need to find a physiotherapist that can give me exercises to do to fix the problem.

I would like to know if anyone else has this problem and their symptoms.
